Alycia Kaback Review on Wandering Thought

The IT Fator Philadelhia, Wandering ThoughtAlycia Kaback thinks Wandering Thought is a great blog with a little ADD, but in a good way!  She just says this because you can find information on such a wide variety of topics- fashion, shopping, budgeting, entertainment, home, photography, family, places, nature, garden, education, school, business, finance, and even internet and technology.  The writer at Wandering Thought spans so many topics because she has always been so fond of writing! She says, “It is very therapeutic to me, and brings out my creativity, not to mention my imagination. My father said that as soon as I knew how to hold a pen/pencil, I started to write (okay, doodling) every where. If the wall was off limit for the moment, then the floor became my playground!”  Alycia Kaback thinks this is a great mentality to have and she is so glad that she pursues her passion.  Wandering  Thought wrote on how Alycia Kaback helps people find their dreams through The IT Factor Philadelphia and Kaback Model Management. Check it out!

The “It” Factor Productions and KMM is currently casting and looking for a wide variety of looks and age ranges from kids to adults. To take the next step, fill out the following information by visiting http://modelingagenciesinpa.com/

Talent Scout for Philadelphia with Vip Talent Connect & Alycia Kaback

October 14th 2011

This week at VIP Talent Connect & Alycia Kaback we answer the question how do I become a talent scout? All the major agencies from Ford Model Management and Elite find new talent by hiring talent scouts. Talent Scouts work in New York, Miami, London all over the world.  In the music business, the talent scout is part of the Artists and Repertoire division of the record label. Their job is to find new talent and bring them to the company. Get started by scouting out talent where you are and perhaps even forwarding that information to a targeted person within an A & R department of a label. Make sure you have an agreement with the talent so that you’re not cut out completely. In this business it’s definitely who you know that matters.

What I do in my job as a Model Scout is look for potential model talent. Some models are Runway Models and need to be tall & thin, but most are regular sized people like you & me who have attractive features and are usually height/weight proportionate. Print models can be any shape & size depending on which catalogues are looking for talent. Promotional models usually appear at events and do public appearances.

What I like most about my job is the look on someone’s face when I ask, “Have you ever considered Modeling?” Most women & men never think their dreams could be realized in a few, short moments. I love to help people get where they want to be and to keep them motivated along the path of their dreams!

Now, I want to say that Modeling is a challenging career that is NOT like the movies and NOT just hanging around wearing nice clothes. It takes dedication and responsibility to be in a high pressure career such as Modeling.

I love my job and wouldn’t trade it for anything! From VIP Talent Connect and Alycia Kaback, we hope this answers your question.

Alycia Kaback Presents VIP Talent Scout Ali’s Interview with Caiden Spector of Kaback Models

At only 4 years old, Caiden Spector has already done what most kids can only dream of doing-be a part of the Toys R Us Christmas Catalog!  Caiden and her dad Steve came into VIP Talent Connect and KMM office to tell us about their experiences thus far and thoughts about the future.  Caiden has shot for Toys R Us, been on The Rachael Ray Show and shot for a children’s apron collection!

Caiden, what do you like to do when you’re not at school or doing photo-shoots?

I like to play playdoh, go swimming, play with my friends and play Barbie’s.

What is your favorite movie and favorite shows on T.V?

Dorothy and Tangled are my favorite movies.  I like iCarly, especially Sam from the show, Victorious and SpongeBob.

Rachel Ray, Caiden Spector, VIP Talent ConnectWhere do you see your future in T.V?

I want to be on Victorious, iCarly and SpongeBob as Sandy.

What is your favorite type of music?

I love Justin Bieber and want to meet him and Selena Gomez.

What do you think of the modeling so far?  Have you had a lot of fun?

It’s a lot of fun.  Both the Rachael Ray shoot and the Toys R Us shoot were my favorites.  I liked posing with the baby doll for the Toys R Us shoot.  It was yucky playing in the dirt on Rachael Ray, but it was still fun.

Did you get to keep anything from any of the shoots you did?

No, but there were a lot of toys.

VIP Talent Connect Summit, KMM TalentDo you want to still do this when you’re older?

Yeah, I want to be a singer and sing a song with Justin Bieber, and be a model and become famous.

Dad:  and you want to be a doctor.

Who do you look up to?

Daddy

A true Daddy’s girl! Dad, what are your thoughts on this whole experience so far?

It’s very mood lifting and a whole different experience-a good experience.  We’ve never had the right connections until now, so it’s very good.

Have you had any issues in the past that might have made you skeptical at first?

Caiden was scouted at the mall once by another company and we paid a couple thousand dollars for pictures, but we are still waiting for a phone call for something to happen.  Kaback Models has been great though.

Being a single dad, has this been difficult for you?

No, I have a family business, so I can take off when I need to.  If I can’t, I have strong family ties, so someone can always take her if I can’t.

Kaback Models, VIP Talent Scout, Caiden SpectorIs it a big time commitment?

It hasn’t been too bad.  It is short notice sometimes, but we haven’t had any issues.  Traveling isn’t an issue and I don’t mind having to go to either New Jersey or New York City.

Are you worried about her missing school?

I’m not worried about it yet, because she isn’t in Kindergarten yet, but I’ll worry about it when the time comes.

Caiden doesn’t have a favorite shoot, but do you have a favorite one that she’s done already?

The Just Like Home apron shoot she just did.

What are your hopes for her?

I want her to enjoy what she is doing; experience new things, new people and new places.   I don’t have to worry about what might happen in the future yet, regarding the pressures of models today.  In the future I’ll have to have a tight grip.

The IT Factor’s Danielle Guldin Success Story Update

Danielle Guldin, Alycia Kaback The IT FactorA happy ‘hello!’ to you all, and I hope you’re enjoying the Summer weather!  This is the first edition of a quarterly newsletter I am beginning in order to provide an easy way to update everyone I know about the professional goings-on in my life.  I hope you enjoy what you read, as most of you are a very large part of why I am finally able to do this.  In advance, I’d like to thank you for being my friends. Here it goes…..

2010 started off with a bang!  Early in January, my good friend, Mark Schoenfeld, advised me to begin auditioning for some theatre projects.  I followed his advice, and within the week, landed the leading role as “Rose,” in the musical Sleeping Beauty for Galli’s Fairytale Theatre in Manhattan.  The show ran for 3 weeks, and it was a fantastic opportunity to get my feet wet in this crazy city’s theatre scene!  Shortly thereafter, I became the host of the New York public access show called Extreme Art Television for The Society of Unique Artists. It’s been amazing to experience New York art at it’s finest and interview some of the most cutting-edge artists in the world!  In early February, my friend Schoolly D,a legendary recording artist and producer, listened to a partial track I had recorded and invited me to his studio to write and record some songs.  Within a few hours we laid down a few really exciting tracks, and we’re continuing to brainstorm some great ideas.  I was also involved in the making of his newest music video for the track, “Just Can’t Help Myself.” It was a completely crazy, funny, zany day, and the video turned out really comedic and light-hearted.  In early March, at the world-wide premiere of the documentary We Live in Public, about/starring the social media pioneer Josh Harris,Josh personally asked me to present the official We Live in Public uniform jacket to the host of the evening’s events, Adrien Grenier.  That was quite an honor!

During the VIP Talent Connect Event on March 13th, I was able to reconnect with the completely fabulous and always stylish, Jess Zaino!  That very day, she cast me in the spec commercial she was producing for Brooklyn Lager. What a great day!  I was also featured in 4 scenes on an episode of Gossip Girl in which Sara Conte cast me.  A few weeks later, my friendJohn Buffalo Mailer asked me to audition for a role in Tell Me the Truth, a short experimental film by the Emmy awardwinning director, Gena Konstantinakos.  I nailed the audition and was cast in the film alongside greats such as John Buffalo Mailer (Wall Street 2), Meital Dohan (Weeds), and Steve Colman (Russell Simmons’ Def Poetry).  WOWOWOW, what an AMAZING opportunity!  Working with people of this level was a dream come true, and Gena’s directorial style was magical!

April was a whirlwind of adventure!  Another Emmy award winning director, Benedict Hadley, had begun filming a reality show about VIP, entitled VIP/NYC, and I was cast in a leading role.  I was instructed to carry a KodakZi8 camera with me at all times, filming myself throughout the course of my adventures.  Some of these adventures included volunteering some time at the 3 Dot Dash International Youth Leadership Summit for global peace, hosted by the great producer, Nile Rogers.  I also documented my double-life as a regular on-air model for the QVC Network, modeling cosmetics for (the fabulous) Laura Geller.  A ridiculously talented guy, Benedict also wrote an OUTSTANDING script called Boost.   He cast me as the principle role of “Keran,” the best friend of the lead character, “Simah.”  After spending loads of time filming theElectronic Press Kit (EPK), we are expected to begin shooting sometime in the late summer.  I couldn’t be more excited (and impatient) to get started!  In late April, I had the experience of a lifetime at the Twitter #140Conf, where I was not only able hang out with Ivanka Trump backstage, but also had the AMAZING opportunity to interview the great and powerful TV personality, Donny Deutsch!  I was so nervous my head was spinning, and I think it turned out pretty darn good!

After attending the awards ceremony at the Babelgum Film Festival in May, my good friend, director Ali Hossaini, consulted with me about a screenplay I have slowly begun to outline, and also the development of a book of poetry I’ve been writing in dribs and drabs for years.  As summer continues, I hope to delve further into these personal projects.   In mid-May, I volunteered 5 days of my life at the HOBY, the Hugh O’Brien Youth Leadership summit, held in Central PA.  During these 5 days, I facilitated  an amazing group of high school sophomores as they learned about the art and selflessness of community service, made pertinent political decisions as they sat in the PA House of Representatives, and made great personal strides as human beings.  It was an amazing and rewarding week! To top off a crazy month, I also began modeling for (the totally awesome) Kate Somerville Skin Health Line on QVC.

2010 has been quite a year, thus far.  I can’t wait to see what the summer will bring!

I have devised a list of goals to accomplish until I update you again.  Here they are!

1) Create my own weekly show on YouTube

2) Start auditioning as often as humanly possible

3) Finish my reel (I’m still waiting on bits of promising footag

4) VISIT HOLLYWOOD (finally!)

5) Finish my website (looong overdue)

Thank you for reading up on my life as of late.  I hope this update finds you happy, healthy, and enjoying the sunshine!
